Paleontologist in from the University of Florida have found a snake fossil underneath a coal mine in Columbia. The snake fossil is over 12.8 meters long or about 38 feet. The snake would have been a foot in diameter and lived over 60 million years ago.

NASA along with a group of scientists are using Rubber Ducks in a key scientific experiment on global warming. Scientist have dropped these pioneering polyurethane mallards into holes in a glacier in Greenland. The Jakobshavn Glacier in Baffin Bay is quickly retreating and scientist are using the ducks to watch the glaciers movements. A zoo in China has begun to feed the Pandas chicken noodle soup as part of their diet. The zookeepers explain that it actually calms the pandas down. |
